Laursen - Part 4

It wasn't planned to play video games at Paul's home at all, because his mum didn't like to see her son and his friends sit in front of the PC for a couple of hours. Fortunately Paul's parents weren't at home so it didn't matter. By the way, it was all Etienne's idea to go over to the young French's house. The others, Lauri and Christian, were kind of followers.

"Let's grab something to eat after this game," Lauri suggested and stretched his arms. He was quite hungry after three hours gaming and not having a break yet. Moreover he couldn't keep listening to music anymore, because the headphones were hurting his ears. Everyone was fine with it and agreed to the young Finn's idea, when Etienne suddenly was laughing his head off. The half French loved to stream his games and read the questions his followers were asking him. And it seemed that one of the questions was really amusing him.

"Hmm don't know who of us gets all the girls," he said half in thoughts and half smirking as if he was scheming something.

"Chris of course," Lauri shouted in the background laughing.

"This is so not true," Christian, who was a bit chubby compared to the rest of his friends, replied and his friends started to laugh. To be honest, the four guys were somehow wondering who of them would get all the girls, if they were actually looking for a relationship. They were popular and well-known in the internet and in the games forum, but it was a whole different story in real life. Etienne was half French and Spanish and many people told him that he was handsome as hell, especially after he started wearing contact lenses and got his braces taken off. So it shouldn't be too hard for him to get the girls and even guys were interested in him, which was slightly creepy.

Paul was also French but he didn't talk much. Compared to Etienne, he didn't get much attention from his female schoolmates. But Paul didn't really mind, because he had his own stuff to care about and wasn't too interested in girls at the moment. Moreover people thought he always looks kind of sad or upset.

If girls like tall guys, Lauri had good chances because he's quite tall, but many girls don't take him seriously because of his baby face. In addition, his unique, icy Northern character and poker face weren't really helping him either. But that didn't mean that Lauri had no chance with the females.

Chris might be the underdog, because he was chubby and nice guys did have a hard position in today's society. Actually, gamers had a hard time to get a relationship and if you weren't as handsome as Etienne for example, no girls would even look at you.

"Seriously who of us gets all the girls?" Chris wondered and looked from Paul over to Lauri, "You can't expect that's me."

"Don't know but we can fight it out if you want," Etienne shrugged but everyone knew that the Spaniard was full of confidence. He was even smirking like the devil in person! Lauri sighed but he still found the whole situation quite funny. A competition huh?

"Let's make it more interesting guys," Paul suggested and rubbed his hands, "Lauri, what about the Sheryl Débuchy challenge? Is it still up?"

The Finn's expression immediately froze by hearing the name Débuchy. Couldn't they just do a normal challenge instead of that one? Obviously not, because they just wanted to trap Etienne and shut his ego down. Still why this stupid challenge?

"Man, this is not fair," Etienne pouted. Everyone had heard about the challenge and that girl was a tough one, even for the handsome Spaniard.

"It should be a breeze for you, right Casanova?" Paul smirked evilly, trying to initiate his friend into the challenge.

"Ya, of course," Etienne rolled his eyes, still confident as hell, "You're talking to the ladies' man."

"I'm out of this," Lauri threw his hands into the air and stood up, "You can call me a sissy or whatever, but I'm not participating."

"Me neither," said Chris, knowing he had no chances from the beginning.

"Sheesh, how boring. Lauri might have a chance, but well. Then it'll be a fight between us Frenchies."

"Dude, I've been turned down by her before, so you're the only one doing this. And just because no one is participating, doesn't mean that you have automatically won," Paul was snickering, trying to hold his laughter back, because Etienne got trapped like a rabbit in a cage. He knew that his landsman was too proud to back off, so it would be quite funny to see him fail.

"Ya, ya, I have to do all the work while you guys can laugh your ass off," Etienne rolled his eyes, "But mark my words: You all will be more than jelly if I get the cutest girl ever as my girlfriend."

Everyone except for Lauri was laughing. It wasn't amusing anymore, not for the young Finn.

The next day, Lauri was on his way to college and looked like a zombie. Someone had to send all freaking motorbike riders, who had nothing better to do than keep him awake, to hell. Who on earth would ride through the streets at 2 a.m.?? The poor student had to yawn every two minutes and rubbed his eyes to keep himself awake. A big cup of brewed black coffee would be really nice.

"Lauuuriiiii!"

No, not this voice. The Finn closed his eyes and wished not to have gotten up this morning. Why? Oh why, Holy Father, why didn't he just stay in his bed and simply skip school? Etienne caught up to his friend, full of energy and smiling brightly like the sun. Just by looking at Lauri, the half Spaniard could tell that the Finn was in a very bad mood.

"Did someone piss in your coffee or something?"

"Shut up, bro," Lauri rubbed his eyes and yawned, "Fucking motorbike riders, I've just slept for two hours and no, I haven't had any coffee this morning, so no-one could piss in it."

Imagining it, Lauri would even have drunk the spoilt coffee in his current condition without noticing it.

"Keep drinking coffee and you'll be good to go," Etienne suggested and laid his arm around Lauri's shoulder. The Spaniard was always a bit touchy for a guy, but it was attitude and the Finn was sort of used to it. Suddenly Lauri stopped and eyed his friend with reasonable suspicion.
"By the way, what are you doing here?"

Etienne's smile became brighter, which crept the young Finn out and made him wish not to have asked in the first place.

"Today and in the next moment, I will prove to YOU and the others that no girl in this world can resist my French charm and Spanish passion. It's the ultimate mix no-one can resist. I'm the pheromone king!"

Yes, a mix between fire and more fire. Someone might have poured alcohol in his passion too, because the Spaniard was burning with confidence. In that moment, a girl from Lauri's college past them and gave them a weird look. The half Spaniard winked at her while the young Finn just rolled his eyes in embarrassment.

"Dude, you're so hopeless."

"You're just jelly," Etienne beamed at him and ran off, "See ya, bro."
